Dry Seasons
“The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.“ Isaiah 58:11
There may be spiritual seasons in your life that seem dry and stale, but know the Lord is not absent. We may feel unconnected to heaven and not sensing God’s presence. We may be in the middle of an unprofitable career or struggling with the conditions of a cold marriage. Whatever our circumstance let us not give up having faith that our Lord remains a shepherd to greener pastures.
During these rough patches of life we may seem abandoned and alone, but the Lord has promised to guide and strengthen us during these dry seasons. It is during these times that we need to focus on Christ and refrain from rehearsing the circumstances.
Let’s pray today to follow our Lord through the dry parched seasons of life.
