Uninterrupted Joy
“Those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” Isaiah 51:11
Heaven will be so unlike this earth, in terms of the emotions we’ve endured and experienced. It’s hard to imagine going through a whole week in uninterrupted joy, let alone going through all eternity in uninterrupted joy. We’ve learned to anticipate trouble coming into our lives here, but in Heaven we won’t even consider that as a possibility.
Gladness will dominate our thoughts and sorrow will become a forgotten feeling when we are in Heaven. Joyfulness and gladness will rule our hearts as we appreciate the magnificent beauty of our eternal home with the Lord and His holy angels.
Let’s pray today in anticipation of the joy we will have throughout all eternity in Heaven.
