Asking in Prayer
“Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24
God knows your needs before you ask, but your asking is part of His plan for answered prayer. Prayer doesn’t change God’s mind, but it changes our hearts. Our Lord desires to give us what we need and even what we want—as those wants fall within His will for us. So let us press our prayers in faith, because our Heavenly Father is waiting to hear from us.
Prayer is to the Christian faith what oxygen is to us staying alive. The practice of prayer is the avenue of communion with Heaven for the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and it is our privileged means of divine strength.
Let’s pray today in clearly asking and communicating with our Heavenly Father.
