Testimony for Christ
“I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.” Philemon 6
It is in sharing our testimony of what Christ has done and is doing in our lives that we most grow into His likeness. Just as love that remains unexpressed is of no value to the one who hides it from the object of their love, so not sharing our faith is of no value to us and to others. By sharing with others why we believe, we are actually preaching the gospel as it was meant to be shared.
We can’t hide God’s mercy to us under a bushel and expect others to see how our life is helped through His providence. We also shouldn’t hide the tough times or sad times in our life because others need to see how we walk with the Lord and how we witness to His glory in bringing us through.
Let’s pray today that we may faithfully share what our Lord has done and is doing in our lives.
