Resolute Obedience
“Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.“ Isaiah 50:7
If the Spirit of God is beckoning you to follow Him in obedience to His word, follow resolutely. Don’t be timid when God is with you, instead resolve to follow Him and have no fear of failure. Failure can be a powerful witness when you handle it before others in His grace. So move forward resolutely in His Spirit and leave the results to His glory.
The Sovereign of the universe is with you to help and that ought to leave no room to worry about how you may appear to others, win or lose. With the Lord by your side there is no chance for disgrace or shame when you are obedient to Him.
Let’s pray today to be committed to the Lord Jesus Christ and leave the results to His glory.
