God Beside Us
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Psalm 32:8
The Spirit of God does not lead you from a distance, but He is with you and guides you from along beside you. There is no risk of transmitting needed data when it comes to God’s deciphering of how He can help us with what is going on in our world. Through the person of the Holy Spirit, God is right where you are and He has first-hand knowledge of circumstances that trouble you, so know that you are not alone.
Our God is not peering from behind a distant cloud, but is close and present with you. While that does mean that you can’t hide anything from Him, it also means that He is aware of your struggles and an ever present help.
Let’s pray today that we would find comfort knowing that our God is with us as we walk through our day.
