Stand for Truth
“In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:12-13
With an increase of wickedness among society’s leaders comes bigotry against Bible believing Christians. To live a godly life, to claim the name of Christ, or to protest sin in the public square is to set ourselves up as targets of persecution. As light in a dark world, there can be no hiding, yet like our Lord we shall be used by the Holy Spirit to bid the lost to accept the Savior.
Persecution is Satan’s attack against the saints, but in the end-times God’s wrath will not fall against the saints but against those who have rejected Christ and have actively persecuted the saints of God.
Let’s pray today that we will not fear when called to stand for truth, but will trust our Lord to use that for His glory.
