God’s Love
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
God is love and His love was displayed to the world through His Son Jesus Christ. God’s love is unconditional. You can not earn salvation but you can receive salvation by believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who came to show God’s love to a denying world. God died for you, paid for your sins, gave you forgiveness, and loves you enough to do that.
The bad news is that you can not do anything good enough to earn your right to eternal life, but the good news is that you can not do anything bad enough to keep you from eternal life, if you will simply repent and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let’s pray today that we too truly believe through faith and accept the love of God for us.
