Comfort in Heaven
“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” Isaiah 66:13
Sometimes our world can beat us up with bad circumstances, but we will find comfort forever with Jesus throughout eternity. A loved one dies, your family falls on tough times, poverty strangles a dream, a marriage falls apart, old age steals the simple physical abilities that once seemed secure, and loneliness leaves us with no friends but our tears, but the day of comfort will come in Heaven.
There is a special comforting for a child in the arms of its loving mother, and for all who are beyond that season of life, your time is coming again when you enter the gates of eternity because then the comforting arms of the Lord await you.
Let’s pray today to trust in our Lord Jesus with hope that we will be comforted from our troubles.
