Pray in Belief
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24
Prayer is not about us and what we need, it’s about God and His abundant grace for us. When we pray, let our focus be on God Himself, His righteousness, and His character. Prayer is not a mirror that looks back at us but a telescope that looks far into the very throne room of God. That’s why we can pray with belief. We believe in God, not ourselves, we believe in His promises, not our own wishes.
Our belief in God’s ability to answer should drive us to invest ourselves in prayer throughout our day. Like communing with a friend, we can communion with the Lord by expressing thanksgiving, praise, and our need for His help.
Let’s pray today to commit our focus and practice of daily prayer believing in God.
