Refreshing Grace
“but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14
The refreshing grace of Christ, once willfully drunk in faith, is an eternal thirst quencher. The redemptive work of Jesus Christ is for now and forever. It even gets better because as a saved sinner by grace you now get to share that grace with other sinners wanting to be saved and it is in that sharing that you continue to grow in His refreshing grace.
The fresh forgiveness that we receive by regularly seeking Christ’s grace for our shortcomings, becomes the joy that we wish to share with other thirsty souls. No matter how often we thirst, it’s not too often to seek His refreshing grace.
Let’s pray today that we would confess our sins and readily accept the grace of Calvary.
