God’s Prophecy
“Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7
The Bible is God’s sure word of prophecy, telling mankind of His plan to redeem us through His Son. It tells of Christ’s forever Kingdom without sin, sorrow, or suffering. It tells us of ages past and foretells us of history to come. It tells us we are looking over the cliff of the end of all things and the Revelation of Jesus Christ encourages us as we await Heaven.
Bible prophecy is the Lord’s assurance that He has not abandoned us and that He has a plan to bring the rule of sin to a final end. God’s plan of redemption includes us, because prophecy is God’s promise that our eternal home is sure.
Let’s pray today that we would meditate upon and study in the word’s that bring light and life.
