Refreshing Joy
“With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” Isaiah 12:3
Being saved is not just a moment encounter like a sip of cold water when you thirst. When you are parched with sorrows, dry with despair or bewildered by circumstances, remember that you have continuous access to a never ending spring of pure living water. There is joyfulness in knowing you have Jesus as a constant well of refreshment.
You don’t have to dig your own well every time you thirst because the Lord Jesus made full atonement at Calvary. Just go there in faith whenever sin stains, life troubles you, or fear grips your outlook of the future and find reasons to have joy.
Let’s pray today that we may turn to Jesus for refreshing living pure water daily and often.
